Reservations, bidding and how the winner pays follow the auction rules, which form part of these terms.

Reserving an opening position before the auction opens requires a refundable deposit of 20% of that amount. Placing a bid once the auction is live requires a flat €10 refundable bid deposit instead — one payment per spot, whatever you raise the bid to afterwards. Either way, the position counts only once the deposit has actually been paid; returning to this site from the payment page is not itself proof of payment. Deposits are held per spot and are not transferable to another spot.

If you win a spot, your deposits on it count toward the winning amount and only the remaining balance is payable. The winning amount must be completed within the payment window stated in the winner notification; if it is not, the placement may pass to the next eligible funded bidder. If you do not win, your deposits on that spot are refunded in full once the winning sponsor has completed their payment. A deposit that is paid for a position that can no longer be given, because the spot was already taken or the auction had closed, is refunded in full. Payments and refunds are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record.

The won physical placement on the training and race kit, a public sponsor reveal, a logo and link on this campaign page, race-day placement and a final sponsor report. Selected campaign photo and video assets are made available according to the agreed package.

Your sponsor page goes live within 24 hours of payment. Your logo is printed on the kit within one week and appears in training content from the next run.

No impression, reach or performance guarantees are given. Reported figures are actual tracked numbers, not estimates or media-value multipliers. Final placement and dimensions are confirmed after the physical shirt + bib + vest test.

Completing the marathon within a specific time, or at all, is not part of the deliverable. Illness, injury, event cancellation or force majeure can change the race plan; in that case a fair alternative or a refund of the undelivered part will be agreed.

You grant the right to use your brand name, logo and URL for this campaign. You confirm you are entitled to grant that right. One free brand, logo or URL swap is possible before the final kit lock. Sponsorships that would conflict with event rules or that are unlawful may be declined.

One sponsor per category. If a category is already taken, I will tell you before you pay or refund you in full within 48 hours.

I reserve the right to decline a placement and refund in full if the brand or artwork is unsuitable.

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.
